Description

The Thermo Fisher Scientific Revco Elite II Series Incubators are designed to create a stable, reliable environment for cell culture applications.Solid stainless steel interior improves resistance to contamination and features clean-weld corners. Triple-wall construction incorporates fiberglass insulation and enhances temperature uniformity and control. Walls and plenum components are formed from high-quality corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Reinforced construction permits stacking. The exterior features a scratch-resistant paint finish. The rear wall of the unit has a 3.8cm (11/2") porthole with a silicone stopper. The water jacket drains into an included autoclavable water pan. Adjustable leveling feet are standard. The two-part door has a tempered glass inner door that is heated by the outer door to prevent condensation. Door features a test port in the center for in-operation readings. A closed-cell silicone inner door gasket maintains positive seal.

Incubators feature the advanced IntrLogic* II control, alarm, and monitoring system for safe, efficient operation. The control panel features only three buttons for simplified operation. Key-operated setpoint security system prevents unauthorized control access. Easy-to-read, vacuum fluorescent display. An RS-485 data port is standard. Audible/visible CO2 alarm is programmable to within 1% deviation above or below the setpoint. Additional alarms indicate high water-jacket temperature and high/low deviation from chamber temperature setpoint. Incubators feature remote alarm contacts and a battery backup for the alarm control system. Automatic CO2 control is provided by either a thermal conductivity (TC) sensor or an infrared (IR) sensor. The TC sensor provides accurate CO2 control for applications with more consistent temperature and humidity levels. The IR sensor is ideal for precise CO2 control in fluctuating temperature and humidity applications. They operate at Temperatures ranging from 5 C above ambient temperature to +40 C.

Fully equipped Elite II models have a welded interior, and provide repeatable and reliable performance for routine culture work. he optional in-chamber HEPA filter dramatically improves air quality and provides additional protection from contamination. The optional CO2 auto switchover systems automatically switch from primary to standby CO2 cylinders and sound an alarm when switchover occurs. Freestanding configuration allows retrofit to incubators in the field; built-in configuration is factory installed. The disposable in-line bacteriological filter delivers only standard micro biologically clean gas to the incubator, improves contamination control, and keeps supply lines and solenoids free of debris. Two-stage regulators are required to deliver proper gas pressure to the incubator. Regulators are made of heavy-duty forged brass and feature an output needle valve and serrated tubing connection for immediate installation. Two regulators are required for the automatic tank switchover systems.
