The smart card is addressed over the VXIbus, and all other modules resident in the VXIbus chassis are controlled by this card. Option 01 uses the local bus on the VXI P2 connector to provide scanning, delay and exclude capabilities. The built-in-test features in the smart card include confidence checking which monitors the state of each relay. It monitors a spare set of contacts or sensing coil current to ensure the switching system configuration is as programmed.

The RELAY16 is a high density, 16 form C relays, IndustryPack Module. All of the relay channels on the RELAY16 can be changed simultaneously with a single access, which significantly reduces software overhead. This product's modular design provides up to 80 discrete outputs through a single VME slot using the VMESC5 carrier or up to 96 relays through a single PC slot using the ISASC6 carrier. The RELAY16 can also be mixed with other IndustryPack Modules for a more customized, modular I/O system solution.
The SHC68-68-EPM is specially designed to work with NI X Series and M Series data acquisition (DAQ) devices. The 7035 9-Bank Multiplexer Card has nine 1x4 multiplexers. The switch contact configuration for each channel is 2-pole form A. The card's nine banks can be combined for a wide variety of switching configurations using external connections. Features of the scanner include a low offset current error (<1pA specified, <30fA typical). The 7158 Low Current Scanner Card includes switching of AC or DC signals up to 100mA. This model provides BNC input and output connectors. Two outputs allow daisy-chaining of Model 7158 cards. This unit is configurable for low current or low voltage switching.
Each channel on the Model 7158 has a pair of single-pole single-throw (SPST), normally open (NO) relays. The relay pair switches signal HI between signal IQ (analog ground) and output HI. Signal LO (outside shell of the BNC) is common to all channels and outputs in the system
