Electrical Engineering Team Lead - Full-Time Position Available

Artisan Technology Group is seeking candidates to fill a full-time openings for the Electrical Engineering Team Lead position and join our cutting-edge and highly-technical team in a goal-oriented, challenging, and intellectual atmosphere.

The Electrical Engineering Team Lead will play a role in providing leadership and use technical experience to manage projects and guide / mentor less experienced engineers in the evaluation, testing, repair, and support of electronic equipment for commercial, industrial, and military applications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Equipment evaluation and repair
  • Supervises, evaluates, and directs technical staff of engineers and technicians
  • Verify Technical Accuracy of Website Information
  • Create, Refine, and Audit Documented Test Procedures
  • Work with equipment vendors to obtain documentation, software, and technical information
  • Coordinating with team members and other internal departments of the organization
  • Creates and maintains safety training program components and provides safety training to technical staff
  • Provides training to technical staff
  • Performs testing, updates procedures, and maintains equipment for ESD prevention program
  • Oversees and provides updates and enhancements to internal technical processes
  • Provides estimation of work and assigns tasks in timely manner to meet projected schedules
  • Interacts with customers to provide technical information and support
  • Maintains quality standards
Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a team lead in technical environment
  • Good problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and computer skills are required.
  • Technical skills required:
    • Experience with troubleshooting process and repair of electronic equipment
    • Read / interpret, create, and update schematic diagrams
    • Ability to identify and replace discrete electronic components
    • Advanced soldering and rework of circuit boards with through-hole and surface-mount components

Our company's primary focus is the sales and support of high-end electronic test and measurement equipment for commercial, industrial, and military applications. The Engineering Technician is a full-time position designed for a technically oriented person with an electronics background who is proficient at testing and troubleshooting. This position will be exposed to wide variety of specialized electronic test and measurement equipment.

For our Engineering Technician Internships, the internship is developed for students to assist our engineers and technicians with short-term projects and offers exposure to a wide variety of specialized electronic equipment.

Job Description

Starting wage range is $18.00 - $24.00 per hour and is commensurate with background, qualifications, and experience. Job Description
The primary duty of the Technology Content Specialists is to create, maintain, and populate website product page content (images, descriptions and specifications). This includes finding product information through internet searches, reading technical manuals and datasheets to identify product options and specifications, and using in-house web-based applications to present product information to customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, proof, and revise technical information on website
    • Perform online searches to find product information
    • Work with equipment vendors to obtain documentation and software

Information Technology Engineer - Position Available

Artisan Technology Group is seeking candidates to fill a full-time opening for an Information Technology Engineer position to join our cutting-edge and highly-technical team in a goal-oriented, challenging, and intellectual atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows-based systems and the desire and ability to quickly adapt to a dynamic environment. Ongoing learning is a requirement of the position, including maintaining current knowledge on production operating systems and acquiring new skills on some of our key technologies. This position an excellent opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties Performed:
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of server and desktop hardware and software systems
  • Work closely with office personnel to troubleshoot and remedy network, software, and hardware issues
  • Deploy and support server hardware, software, and security patches
  • Evaluation and implementation of new technologies
  • Provide support for server systems running on both physical and virtual hardware
  • Monitor, maintain, and track system backup and restore procedures

Job Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Customer Support Specialist:
  • Provide quotations, estimates, and other sales information to customers
  • Answer customer telephone calls and emails and distribute to appropriate staff

  • Creates, proofs, revises, and edits written material as needed
