Before installing and operating this unit, the coolant lines will need to be completely flushed. In order for unit to operate correctly through the full temperature range, 3M Novec HFE7500 Engineered Fluid needs to be installed. This unit comes with a quick-connect air hose.

The environmental chamber does not have the application specific thermal unit installed. The thermal unit or Tool is the part that makes contact with the Device Under Test, and applies the changes in temperature. Description

The ETC 2000 Series represents Delta's active conduction thermal control products, featuring the industry's fastest and most accurate device thermal control technology for high-power logic devices.

With a -40°C to +150°C set point temperature range and patented Power Balancing™ junction temperature control, the ETC 2000 Series is capable of delivering true ±3°C performance. Unlike conventional thermal control systems, the ETC 2000 Series does not use LN2 or chilled water, and the unique thermal chamber permits fast device change-out regardless of set point. A GPIB interface enables test-system communication, while 8-channel on-system data acquisition permits precise tracking of thermal performance parameters.

The small-profile ETC 2000 heat exchanger provides pinpoint temperature accuracy directly at the surface of the package heat spreader or C4 die. This makes the ETC 2000 Series the industry's fastest set point temperature changing solution and gives it the capability to thermally control devices with power densities up to 100 Watts/cm2 and beyond without risk to the test result or thermal damage to priceless characterization devices.
