Description
The Parker/Compumotor 2100 Indexer is a microprocessor based programmable pulse generator for the control of pulsed motor and drive systems. These indexers will drive any size motor/drive set or standard 200/400-step translator and stepper motor combinations with precision control. Depending on the particular Compumotor motor/drive used, a single revolution can be subdivided into 1,000, 21,600, 25,000, 25,400, 36,000 or 50,000 individual steps. Using the Indexer, you can rotate the motor shaft to a precise position and stop; rotate at a constant velocity; alternate back and fourth between two angular positions; or use a combination of moves.
The 2100 can be operated manually, controlled by a remote terminal or controlled by a computer. Up to 16 indexers can be controlled from the same terminal or computer when used with either a remote terminal or computer. It is typically used for precise position control with no external position feedback. There is an option for closed-loop operation.
Product Family: 2100, 2100-1, 21001, 2100 1, 2100-2, 2100 2, 2100-2-488-R12
