This ABI 785A Programmable Variable Wavelength Detector is used and in good condition. This unit does not have the flowcell, heat exchanger, fluid fittings, and tubing. This unit has minor cosmetic damage to the case; however, that does not affect is functionality.

Description

The ABI 785A is a LC variable wavelength detector that can operate from 190-700nm. Nitrogen purge hook-up is present for desired operation below 200nm. This instrument is fully programmable from the front-panel user interface, or it can be controlled remotely from the RS232 port. The workhorse of the industry, both Applied Biosystems (ABI) and Perkin Elmer (PE) sold the 785A as part of their product line-up. PE has many accessories/parts listed and available on their website (as well as the manual).
