This MPB EBS-7210 Erbium Broadband Source is used and in good condition. This unit has a small crack on the outer plastic frame; however, this does not effect functionality. Also, this unit does not include the activation key.

Description

The EBS-7210 is a double-band broadband source. The reduced ripple of its high-power emission spectrum is ideally suited to test broadband passive components (such as AWGs and FBGs) since it allows loss measurements to be performed with a uniform, large dynamic range, hence equally precisely, over both the C and the L bands.

The EBS-7210 is a high-power, spectrally-flattened broadband source spanning both the erbium C and L bands. The EBS-7210 was developed to be an affordable, yet powerful, laboratory test source for DWDM component manufacturers.

With its broad, flattened emission spectrum and eye-safe wavelength, the EBS-7210 Dual-Band Broadband Source is well suited for a wide range of applications, such as wavelength-dependent loss and PMD measurements of DWDM-system components, gain and gain-flatness measurements of EDFAs, local networking by spectral slicing, fiber-optic sensors and white-light interferometry.
