The VM1602 is a high-performance event monitor with time stamp recording capability. The instrument monitors each of its 32 inputs for an event and records the time when the event occurred. The time is recorded by saving the value of a 40-bit time counter into memory, along with a 32-bit event source value corresponding to the channel or channels which caused the event to occur. The VM7004 is a high-density programmable resistor module with 4 channels per VMIP daughter module. Each channel is programmable from 0 to 16,383 ohms and has its own sense leads for feedback. Monitor points are also provided per group of 4 channels for ease of calibration.

The VM4016 is a high-performance Analog Comparator module with 16 input channels per VMIP daughter module. Each input channel consists of a differential amplifier with a gain of 1 or 0.1 giving an input range of ±10 V or ±100 V. Each input is compared against a reference voltage derived from an independent 8-bit DAC.

• Each Input Signal is Digitally Debounced
• After Debounce, the Signal May Be Programmatically Inverted
• All of the Masked Inputs are OR'd Together

The VM6068 is a high-performance serial interface card that can be configured to support many serial interfaces, and not just the traditionally supported UART. It is a message-based instrument which has a SCPI-compatible command set and VXI plug and play drivers for ease of use. In order to support high data throughput, the VM6068 provides a large amount of memory, along with register-based data access.

The VXI modular instrumentation platform (VMIP) is designed for high performance instrumentation, allowing it to accommodate all aspects of the VXI specifications, while simultaneously significantly increasing the power of a single VXIbus card slot, compared to single device solutions. In an effort to further enhance the VMIP's flexibility and ease of use, the VM9000 is manufactured with an open-platform concept, allowing multiple product designs to be used in conjunction with one another. The augmented design of the VM9000 VMIP and its accommodating platform allow the user to decrease both the cost and the size of their Test and Data Acquisition needs. Furthermore, there are more than 20 different instrument modules available on the VMIP platform, enhancing the ability to customize your instrument based on budget and needs.
