These units have been modified to run from a bench-top power supply instead of 9V batteries. No issues with dead or dying batteries with these units. There is a New Focus microconnector on the battery housing. They can be hooked into a New Focus 0901 +/- 15-V Power Supply with a 0922 accessory cable. Alternatively, it can be hooked into a standard +/- 15V lab power supply with the New Focus 0921 microconnector-to-bannana jack cable.
