The Agilent E1510A 4-Channel Sample and Hold SCP provides four channels of sample and hold inputs, and four channels of direct inputs for the A/Ds. The sample and hold inputs sample all four channels simultaneously to reduce the skew introduced by scanning.

The SCP circuitry provides a voltage gain of 0.5, 8, 64, or 512 for each channel.

The low-pass filter on each sample and hold channel is a 6th order Bessel active RC filter used to provide alias protection and noise reduction. The filter cutoff frequencies are 1 kHz, 500 Hz, 250 Hz, 100 Hz, and 15 Hz.

Description

Agilent's Signal Conditioning Plug-ons (SCP) Modules can be used for different groups of signals, based on the signal level and characteristics. Each SCP is optimized for different levels, and some of these SCPs have filtering to reduce sensor-based noise. Multiple SCPs can be combined on the Scanning A/D to provide the proper signal conditioning for a wide variety of inputs.

Agilent sold all of its SCP modules along with some VXI cards to VXI Technology.

When introduced, SCPs were sold as options to the E1313A and E1413A/B. These option labelings are on older modules, with newer modules designated by a SCP model number. For your convenience, the option numbers and model numbers are both listed in the table.
