The National Instruments SCXI-1303 terminal block provides a convenient method for connecting and disconnect signals to your system. This terminal block is an ideal solution for large-channel-count temperature or voltage applications.

The SCXI-1303 terminal block is for use with the SCXI-1100 and SCXI-1102/B/C modules. This terminal block is designed especially for high-accuracy thermocouple measurements. It includes isothermal construction that minimizes errors caused by thermal gradients between terminals and the cold-junction sensor. The SCXI-1303 also includes circuitry for open-thermocouple detection as well as automatic ground referencing for floating (nongrounded) thermocouples.

The SCXI-1303 channels can be configured for either floating or ground-referenced sources in blocks of eight channels when used with the SCXI-1100.

When used with the SCXI-1102/B/C, this terminal block provides a high-impedance path (10 M Ohm) from the negative input terminal to ground. This allows the system to work reliably with either floating or grounded thermocouples.
