Agilent E1406A
The Agilent Technologies E1406A Command Module is a C-size, 1-slot VXI messagebased commander that provides Slot 0 and Resource Manager functions. It can act as a VMEbus system controller and GPIB (IEEE-488)-to-VXIbus interface device for transparently communicating with any manufacturer’s message-based VXI modules. The E1406A Command Module has FLASH memory for downloadable drivers, so you can program Agilent register-based devices using the high-level SCPI programming language. It also translates SCPI commands for register-based instruments and therefore, makes these VXI devices as easy to program as message-based instruments.

Agilent E1740A:
The Agilent E1740A time interval analyzer module provides a 2-slot VXI card solution for high-performance measurement. Its ability to capture high-resolution timing measurements makes it suitable for jitter characterization, telecommunications, digital design, data storage, radar/surveillance, VCO/PLL, clock distribution, and high-speed mechanical applications. The E1740A is the heart of the E1725A/B/C VXI system and is available with software packages that tailor the instrument for specific applications. Products are designed for data storage device analysis, network synchronization measurements, clock jitter and SONET/SDH jitter analysis.

The Agilent E1741A time interval analyzer software extends the power of the E1740A or E1725A/B/C time interval analyzer, and meets the specific requirements of data storage analysis. This easy-to-use Microsoft® Windows® application includes powerful display and analysis capabilities. E1741A software provides measurement control, as well as a range of tools that help you accurately characterize data storage devices. By integrating the Agilent E1740A or E1725A/B/C time interval analyzer with a PC running Windows 3.1, 95, or 98, the software helps you effectively analyze the quality and performance of your products including high-speed, high-density disks.

Agilent E1747A:
The Agilent E1747A timing pattern analysis software, when used with E1741A time interval analysis software, helps you focus your development efforts to improve disk drive performance. The software provides a graphical analysis of the underlying pattern-dependent timing effects that limit quality and performance, and lets you extract worst-case data patterns, even from random data. Use it to investigate problematic data patterns and their influence on data edge placement. E1747A software integrates the measurement functions of E1740A or E1725C time interval analyzers with Microsoft Windows®-based analysis routines. It is available for any IBM-compatible PC running Windows 3.1, 95, or 98 and includes an easy-to-use interface.

Agilent E1421A:
The Agilent E1421A C-size, 6-slot VXI mainframe is a compact, cost-effective solution for configurations requiring fewer slots than the 13-slot E1401B or E84XX series C-size mainframe. The smaller size and weight of the E1421A make it an excellent choice for either portable or rack-mount applications. The E1421A complies with the VXIbus Specification by providing injector surface rails used by the QUIC easy module insertion and extraction system. Agilent has incorporated its industry-leading Pressurized Air Channel cooling system into the design of the E1421A. It ensures clean, uniform airflow to each module. For greater power supply serviceability, power input intake is through the rear of the mainframe. Airflow is through the right side and exhausts through the left.

RadiSys EPC-7: (Agilent RADI-EPC7B)
The EPC-7 is a C-size VXIbus embedded computer based on the Intel 486 processor. Description

The Agilent E1725A/B/C time interval analyzer combines a fast measurement sampling rate with a large 512K memory and advanced analysis capabilities. Optional software packages with the E1725A, E1725B & E1725C, tailor the instrument for specific applications. With the E1725A/B/C, you can take measurements and perform analysis on data storage devices, SONET/SDH tributary jitter, clock jitter, and network synchronization measurements.

The E1725A, E1725B and E1725C are designed for benchtop use and integrates the high-performance E1740A Time Interval Analyzer Module with an external Omnibook laptop computer running Microsoft® Windows® 3.1 or Windows 98. The Windows interface streamlines setup and provides control of parameters. Built in histograms, window margin analysis, and statistical functions speed access to results.
