Description

The HP El451 Pattern I10 Module and HP El452 Terminating Pattern I10 Module are single slot, C-size VXIbus register-based modules. They are used to send or receive pattern data to/from the DUT (Device Under Test). Each 110 module contains four identical 8-pin ports (32 I10 pins). Each port can be independently programmed to either output (stimulus), record (response), or real-time compare (response). Each port has a 64k-byte deep sequence memory for holding patterns and control bits. Multiple test 1 sequences may co-reside in this memory. To eliminate skew errors caused by timing variation between ports, each port has its own programmable delay device. This device is programmed based on constants stored in the module's calibration memory.

The HP El451 and HP El452 are identical except that the HP El451 passes along the Local Bus pattern clocks to the next module whereas the HP El452 terminates the pattern clock lines. The HP El452 Terminating Pattern I10 Module must be the last module of the Pattern I10 module set so the Local Bus is properly terminated when the HP El450 Timing Module is used. If external timing is used in lieu of the timing module, then only the HP El451 Pattern 110 module is required.

The Agilent E1452A Pattern Input/Output Module is a C-size, 1-slot, register-based VXI module that is used to send data to and receive data from a device under test. This module is part of the 75000 Model D20 but can be used standalone. Since it does not contain an internal time base, it is normally clocked over the local bus by the E1450A Timing Module in an 75000 Model D20 Digital Functional Test System. However, when used standalone, the E1452A is clocked by an externally supplied signal.

What is the difference between Models E1330B, E1458A and E1451A/E1452A?

These are all Digital I/O cards.
Models E1451A/E1452A have four 8-bit ports with 64K card memory behind each port.
Model E1330B has four 8-bit ports, and the E1458A has 12 8-bit ports with only one memory location behind each port.
