Description

The Agilent / HP 83446A/B lightwave clock/data receivers are designed to extract clock and data information from digitally modulated lightwave signals. They operate at the following SONET/SDH rates: 2.48832 Gb/s (Agilent / HP 83446A), 622.08 Mb/s (Agilent / HP 83446B) Both receivers have been designed per the recommendations of ITU-T G.957, G.958, and Bellcore GR-253-CORE for the 1310/1550 nanometer wavelength ranges. Outputs are optimized for use with bit-error-ratio testers, such as the Agilent / HP 71604B.
