Description
The National Instruments PCI-CAN Series Controller Area Network (CAN) Interfaces meet the physical and electrical requirements for in-vechicle automotive networks based on CAN. What are the differences between the Series 1 and Series 2 CAN boards?
Series 1 boards could communicate by either DeviceNet or CAN, but for Series 2 this functionality was separated into different products. Because of this, Series 1 cards require an older version of the NI-CAN driver to be used since Series 2 phased the Series 1 cards out.
