The Agilent / HP 44701A Integrating Voltmeter can be used with an HP 447XXX multiplexer to make AC or DC voltage, AC or DC current (with external shunt resistor), resistance (2-wire ohms and 4-wire ohms), strain, or temperature (RTD, thermistor, and thermocouple) measurements.







The Agilent / HP 44702A 13-Bit High Speed Voltmeter directly measures DC Voltage and DC Resistance. It allows quick collection of data (100,000 readings/sec) and maximizes measurement output.

The unit has 8 Function Module Slots, System Timer, and Measurement Pacer. It features 13-bits, buffer for over 8,000 readings and a Mode Voltage of 100V.





The Agilent / HP 44702B 13-Bit High Speed Voltmeter directly measures DC Voltage and DC Resistance. It allows quick collection of data (100,000 readings/sec) and maximizes measurement output.

The unit has a voltage accuracy of ±(0.05%+ 1.88 mV) for 2.56 V range.





The Agilent / HP 44704A 16-Bit High Speed Voltmeter directly measures DC Voltage and DC Resistance. It allows quick high accuracy at high speed and maximizes measurement throughput.

The unit has a voltage accuracy of ±(0.015%+ 340µV) for 2.56 V range.

The relay MUX is an analog signal multiplexer accessory which is used to switch (multiplex) signals from up to 60 single-ended channels for measurement by the Agilent / HP 3852A voltmeter accessories or by external voltmeters. This accessory provides switching capability for the 60 channels at scanning speeds up to 450 channels per second using an Agilent / HP 3852A voltmeter accessory. This accessory can switch signals up to 42 VDC or 30 VAC rms (42V peak).

The relay MUX accessory consists of a 60-channel terminal module and a relay MUX component module. Field wiring from your application sensors, such as voltage sources, will be connected to the terminal module and the signals will be sent to the switches located on the component module.





This module has a cracked pull ring; however, this will not prevent it from functioning properly.

The Agilent 44728A is an 8-Channel Relay Actuator that provides eight channels of moderate level AC (up to 250 VAC peak) and DC (up to 30 VDC) power level switching for ON/OFF control of external devices.

All switches are break-before-make, SPDT Form C high-voltage relays. Each relay (one for each channel) can be individually programmed, with accessory memory holding the relay in its programmed state until reprogrammed. At power-down, all relays return to the Normally Closed (NC) position.

Description

You can easily configure an Agilent 3852A data acquisition and control system to meet your needs for measuring physical parameters. The 3852A is set up to handle many different transducer inputs including thermocouples, thermistors, RTDs, and strain gages, as well as being ready to measure dc volts, currents, resistances, pulse counts, frequencies, and more. The 3852A mainframe has eight (8) slots for plug-in function modules, and has provisions for extending the mainframe (the 3853A) for large systems requiring more plug-in cards.

Choose from three digital voltmeters to meet your measurement needs. The voltmeters can be used in the mainframe or the extenders, and multiple voltmeters are allowed in each mainframe. With the 3852A you can choose from a complete set of input and output plug-in modules that provide a variety of measurement and output-controlling capabilities.

The 3852A has built-in, 68000-based intelligence to increase the speed and effectiveness of the system and to collect, analyze, and respond to data. Control decisions are handled quickly using subroutines running within the mainframe (not having to communicate via GPIB to an external computer in every case). This intelligence can be used to return only the most significant data to the computer, increasing its efficiency with other tasks. The power of this front-end intelligence, in combination with a 9000 Series 300 computer and optional data acquisition software, adapts easily to testing your product or characterizing your processes. Or, if you prefer, you may configure your system to run with a PC as the host computer, possibly incorporating the Graphical Programming Language from Agilent VEE.
