Description

The 3M / Photodyne 19XT Series Continuous Attenuator is a portable and automatic instrument which provides continuous attenuation of single mode or multimode fiber optical signals in both shortwave and longwave applications. It offers a wide attenuation range and excellent resolution, combined with high accuracy. Small and lightweight, yet powerful in performance, the 19XT allows simple front panel operation, or external electrical signal control of attenuation. In the external mode, an analog input voltage control’s the attenuation, with a scale factor of 25 dB per volt input. The digital display of attenuation and wavelength is fully annunciated with all units and functions of the instrumentt.
