Description

The Yokogowa / Ando AQ5501 and AQ5502 O/E converters employ 0.85 and 1.3µm band APDs (avalanche photodiodes) for light receiving elements, respectively. Both have a demodulation frequency range of 1 to 1000 MHz. Since they offer high sensitivity, they are used mainly for measuring the baseband characteristics of optical fibers and other optical devices.
