Description

The Kinetic Systems V765 Termination Panel provides a convenient method for terminating module I/O signals. Arranged for 19-inch rack mounting, the panel permits termination of up to 72 I/O terminations and occupies only 1U of rack height (4.45 cm, 1.75 in).

The V765-ZA11 uses 72 LMI steel cage clamp terminals to receive field wiring. Each terminal accepts a single solid or stranded conductor in wire sizes AWG 22 to AWG 14. The rear panel has two 50P Amphenol Ribbon connectors, one 50S High Density connector and one 68S High Density connector for a wide variety of system solutions.

The V765-ZB11 is a 24-channel isothermal panel which includes a trifilar-wound transformer and associated network for each input channel. This option was developed for applications that require microvolt-level accuracy in the presence of high-frequency noise. When used with the V243 Low-level Multiplexer module, the V765-ZB11 provides excellent common-mode rejection from DC to 20 MHz. This is particularly important, since high-frequency common-mode voltages can produce significant DC-offset errors when acquiring low-level signals.
