Description

The Ulyssix Technologies Syrinx Digital Baseband / FM Demodulator is a DSP based product capable of demodulating FM/FM, FM/PCM, and FSK making it the most flexible baseband demodulator available. All carrier frequencies within a range of 250 Hz to 15 MHz are supported. Additional recommended applications include tone detection and pre-detection of antenna AGC signals. The DSP algorithms are implemented in state-of-the-art FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) allowing for rapid enhancements or customization.

The FIR Lowpass Filter option allows the user to configure the card as either a baseband demodulator or a stand-alone digital FIR Lowpass Filter from 100 Hz - 1 MHz. The Capture Mode option outputs the digital demodulator data to the hard disk for storage, which can be analyzed by the SyrinxPCI FFT playback screen or imported into 3rd party analysis software.
