Description

The Kinetic Systems V490 Series Tripper Pulse Generator is a single-width, C-size, register-based VXIbus module. The V490 module generates the pulse for V400-series of waveform recorders; also, the V490 can be used with any other device that requires a rising-edge, TTL-level trigger input. The V490 is the optimal choice for trigger pulse generation for VXI ADCs, transient recorders and many other instruments. The V490 series offers the user a selection of one of eight analog input channels to be used as the trigger source. The V490 Trigger Pulse Generator is designed to be used in an array of applications; including, acoustic / vibration measurements, sonar, automotive safety testing, and high-speed dynamic tests.

The V490 Series features front-panel LED indicator lights for a clear display of the panel's current state. There are four different states that the V490 can be in: Address Received, Interrupt Source, Armed, and Threshold.
