Description

The INO FAF Series Benchtop Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier was developed for operation on the C-Band. The FAF is a single-stage amplifier featuring low noise figure and high gain and output power. Gain flattening and gain locking options make this EDFA an ideal choice for DWDM applications.

INO manufactures key amplifier components in-house to bring an added dimension of specialized expertise to EDFA fabrication. In addition to producing its own erbium-doped fiber, INO also designs and builds the Bragg gratings, including the phase masks, used in gain flattening filters, ensuring maximum quality and reliability.
