The Datacube MaxPCI Single-Board Image Processor brings power and flexibility to developers of demanding, PC-based imaging applications. This first PCI platform product from Datacube is faster, more modular, and less expensive than previous generations of image processing subsystems, making it adaptable to a wide variety of imaging applications.

MaxPCI uses pipeline processing to acquire, store, process, and display images. Image data is piped through a series of on-board computational elements that perform a broad range of image processing tasks. These elements are connected through a non-blocking crosspoint switch comprising 65 inputs by 75 outputs, of 8 bits each. Operating at 40 MHz, this crosspoint provides over 3 GB per second of internal bandwidth and up to 10,000 MIPS of performance, it sets a new performance standard for single-board pipeline image processors.

Product Family: MaxPCI, 260-0910, 260.0910, 260/0910, 260 0910, 2600910
