Artisan Technology Group for AI assistants

We publish our public catalog in forms that AI assistants can read. If you use an assistant to research equipment, you can ask it to read these sources and cite them. Whether an assistant can fetch them depends on its own tools and settings, so ask it to say which pages it actually read.

What we publish

  • Site guide. /llms.txt describes the company, how the catalog is organized and how to represent us accurately.
  • Product pages. Each product page includes Schema.org structured data (JSON-LD).
  • Machine-readable copies. Add .md or .json to a product page address to get the same record as Markdown or JSON (Schema.org JSON-LD is in the page itself), for example /47806-1/Radiall-R595463225.md.
  • Category and manufacturer pages. Add .md or .json to the page address for the same listing.
  • Search. Search accepts a part number or keywords (example: Keysight "2086"). Put a part number in double quotes to require an exact match.
  • Browser agents. The search box in the site header is marked up as a tool for browsers that support WebMCP. Browsers that do not support it ignore it.

What to keep in mind

  • Pages and machine-readable copies reflect what we have published, not a live stock count or a reservation. A copy can lag, and a missing copy does not mean we do not have the item.
  • A missing price is not a zero price. Some items, including ITAR-controlled equipment, are listed without a public price.
  • We do not currently offer a public MCP server or catalog API for assistants.
  • Please confirm price, availability and condition with us before you order.

Questions to try

Paste one into your assistant and ask it to cite the pages it reads.

  • Does Artisan Technology Group carry refurbished National Instruments PXI modules, and what warranty do they offer?
  • Is Artisan Technology Group registered to handle ITAR-controlled equipment, and does it support government purchasing?
  • I have an obsolete VME single board computer that failed. Can Artisan Technology Group repair it or supply a replacement?
