Description
Van der Heijden Labortechnik KÜHLMOBIL air-cooled recirculating chiller with a 16-22°C setpoint range (verified on power-up). Built 2022.
Cabinet size (approx. 24" H excluding casters) and compressor sizing are consistent with the KÜHLMOBIL 800 W - 1 kW models (rated cooling capacity at 20°C). The original unit nameplate is missing, so the exact capacity variant cannot be confirmed.
Identified components:
- Tecumseh AE4440Y-FZ1A hermetic compressor, R-134a refrigerant
- Van der Heijden circulation pump: 10 l/min max flow, 35 m max head (approx. 3.5 bar)
- Air-cooled condenser with fan

The Van Der Heijden Labortechnik KÜHLMOBIL is a recirculating laboratory chiller designed to provide temperature-controlled cooling water for laboratory instruments, analytical equipment, water baths, rotary evaporators, and other cooling applications. The KÜHLMOBIL 16-22°C product family is intended for applications requiring stable cooling water temperatures within a controlled laboratory environment.
This unit features an integrated refrigeration system, circulation pump, pressure gauge, bypass valve, and digital controller housed within a compact mobile enclosure. Water feed and return connections allow the unit to be connected directly to external laboratory equipment requiring recirculated cooling water.
The controller permits temperature settings between 16°C and 22°C, consistent with the KÜHLMOBIL 16-22°C laboratory chiller product family.
