Functions
Modular L-band data modem for satellite communications delivering digital modulation and demodulation across the L-band RF link. Performs forward error correction, trellis or convolutional coding, symbol timing and carrier recovery, demodulation, decoding, framing, and interleaving with configurable data rates. Provides host interfaces (serial/parallel) for data and control, remote configuration and monitoring, and status reporting. Includes packet framing, error detection, and optional adaptive equalization to compensate for channel impairments. Designed for integration into terminal equipment requiring high-assurance link performance in the L-band.
