Functions
Measures global solar radiation using silicon photovoltaic detector with cosine-corrected response. Outputs current signal proportional to incident solar irradiance calibrated in W/mĀ². Spectral response optimized for natural daylight conditions with <5% error under unobstructed sky. Interfaces via 10ft cable providing analog current output. Mounts using included plate for fixed outdoor installations. Applications include agricultural monitoring, meteorological stations, and solar energy assessment. Not suitable for artificial light, greenhouse, or reflected radiation measurements due to limited spectral range.
