Measures global solar radiation across 400-1100nm spectral range using silicon photovoltaic detector with cosine-corrected diffuser. Outputs analog voltage proportional to incident solar irradiance in W/mĀ². Interfaces via two-wire connection to dataloggers, chart recorders, or integration systems. Features temperature-compensated response, weatherproof housing rated for continuous outdoor deployment. Commonly used in meteorological stations, agricultural research, solar energy assessment, and environmental monitoring applications. Mounts horizontally using leveling plate for accurate hemispherical radiation measurement.
