The Ametek VM9000 VXI Modular Instrumentation Platform allows for up to three high-performing instruments to be housed in a single VXIbus card slot, saving valuable space and cost. The VXI modular instrumentation platform (VMIP) is designed for high performance instrumentation, allowing it to accommodate all aspects of the VXI specifications, while simultaneously significantly increasing the power of a single VXIbus card slot, compared to single device solutions. In an effort to further enhance the VMIP's flexibility and ease of use, the VM9000 is manufactured with an open-platform concept, allowing multiple product designs to be used in conjunction with one another. The augmented design of the VM9000 VMIP and its accommodating platform allow the user to decrease both the cost and the size of their Test and Data Acquisition needs. Furthermore, there are more than 20 different instrument modules available on the VMIP platform, enhancing the ability to customize your instrument based on budget and needs.
The VM9000 Ametek VXI Modular Instrumentation Platform may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
