The B&R Automation 8V1640.13-2 ACOPOS Servo Drive makes any mission-critical automation task that requires controlling high-power electric motors feasible. Operating in the voltage range of 3x 400-480 VAC and having 64 A of operational current, this drive can output power as high as 32 kW, which renders it appropriate for high-power automation duties. The drive has a provision for a braking resistor and line filter, which isolates its operation, enabling it to be less noisy. A supply of materials to vessel attributions is provided as well. These must consist of a minimum of 500uF at the working voltage, and they are non-rechargeable during operation. To add another level of safety, the 8V1640.13-2 is equipped with an electronic safe restart interlock that prevents the machine from restarting after power interruptions.
