The Matrox Imaging XV6I5M16DA+ is a rugged industrial machine vision controller designed for demanding image acquisition and vision processing applications. Built around an Intel Core i5-8500 processor and 16 GB of DDR4 memory, the system provides the performance and expansion capability required for machine vision inspection, automation, imaging analysis, and industrial computing environments. Based on the XV6 platform later rebranded under Zebra Technologies, the controller supports a wide range of vision and video capture applications through its extensive PCIe expansion capability and industrial connectivity options.
The XV6I5M16DA+ features four full-height PCIe Gen3 expansion slots for frame grabbers, vision processing hardware, I/O interfaces, and other specialized cards. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, multiple display outputs, numerous USB ports, and serial communication interfaces allow integration with cameras, sensors, automation equipment, and industrial networks.
This model was supplied with Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and is fully licensed for Aurora Design Assistant and Aurora Imaging Library runtime packages, making it suitable for deployment in machine vision and image processing environments.
The Matrox XV6I5M16DA+ Industrial Machine Vision Controller may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
