The Intel TXN31115D200000 SFP Optical Transceiver is a hot-pluggable Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceiver designed for high-speed Fiber Channel and Gigabit Ethernet communications over multimode fiber. The module uses an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter and duplex LC optical interface to provide bidirectional optical communication while maintaining compatibility with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA).
The TXN31115D2 was specifically developed for 4.25 Gb/s Fiber Channel (4x FC) applications while maintaining backward compatibility with 2.125 Gb/s Fiber Channel, 1.0625 Gb/s Fiber Channel, and 1.25 Gb/s Gigabit Ethernet networks. The module supports digital diagnostics monitoring, enabling real-time monitoring of temperature, supply voltage, transmit bias current, transmit optical power, and receive optical power.
The module is commonly used in Fiber Channel switches, storage-area networking equipment, host bus adapters, telecommunications systems, and high-speed network infrastructure.
