TheJDSU / Acterna / WWG ANT20 / ANT-10G advanced network tester are designed to meet customers future needs. This flexible platform enables customers to adapt to technological change and can accommodate the DSn, SONET, SDH and/or ATM requirements, as well as new standards, higher bit rates and the intelligent system components of the future. The ANT-20 is suitable for a number of applications including development labs, conformance and functional tests in production, installation and acceptance and can help pinpoint potential problems within in-service networks. The highly flexible measurement capabilities of the ANT-20 make it possible to investigate all major quality parameters on diverse interfaces, ranging from simple bit error rate tests (BERT) to performance and pointer analysis, covering even complex synchronization problems. The ANT-20 offers a customizable test solution that can be tailored to specific individual needs.

What is the difference between the ANT-20 and the ANT-20SE?
The ANT-20SE has three extra expansion slots.

Functions

Performs comprehensive network testing and analysis including jitter measurement, wander measurement, bit error rate testing, protocol analysis, and synchronization verification. Operates on portable handheld platform with touchscreen interface supporting multiple network standards including PDH, SDH, SONET, and Ethernet. Connects via standard electrical and optical test ports with SMA, BNC, and fiber optic interfaces. Integrates with network infrastructure through direct connection to transmission equipment, cross-connects, and optical distribution frames.
