The Data Translation DT9871U TEMPpoint Precision Temperature Measurement Modules are designed for thermocouple, voltage, and process monitoring applications. The DT9871U platform combines USB connectivity, dedicated 24-bit measurement channels, and 1000V galvanic isolation to provide accurate data acquisition in industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, and research environments. Each input channel utilizes its own dedicated A/D converter for simultaneous high-resolution measurements while maintaining complete channel isolation for maximum measurement integrity. The DT9871U supports a wide range of thermocouple types and includes automatic cold-junction compensation, open-sensor detection, optically isolated digital I/O, and field calibration support. These capabilities make the platform suitable for temperature monitoring, environmental testing, process control, equipment validation, and automated data logging applications.
