The Agilent 86060C-series lightwave switches cover a broad range of switching capacity and provide for accurate and repeatable measurements. Configuring the switch is easy because the signal routing is shown graphically on the display. You can easily integrate the switch into an automated test system using SCPI-compatible commands via GPIB or RS-232 interfaces. The Agilent 86060C-series lightwave switches are temperature stabilized.
The Acqiris 86062C 2x64 Lightwave Optical Switch may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Functions
This optical switch provides automated fiber optic signal routing between two input channels and 64 output channels. Functions include low-loss switching of optical signals across C and L bands (1260-1650nm), bidirectional operation for both single-mode and multimode fibers, programmable switching configurations via GPIB/RS-232 control interfaces, non-blocking architecture allowing any input to connect to any output, typical insertion loss under 1.5dB, switching speeds under 20ms, and repeatability better than 0.1dB. Supports telecom testing, optical network monitoring, fiber sensor interrogation, and automated test systems requiring dynamic optical path reconfiguration. FC/PC connectors ensure low back-reflection connections.
