Functions

Measures turbidity in water samples using nephelometric detection method with infrared LED light source at 850nm wavelength. Detects suspended particles and colloidal matter in range 0-1000 NTU with 0.01 NTU resolution. Features automatic temperature compensation, data logging capability for 99 readings, and RS-232 interface for PC connectivity. Operates on four AA batteries with auto power-off function. Accepts 10ml glass vials for sample testing. Calibrates using 0 and 100 NTU standards. Applications include drinking water quality monitoring, wastewater treatment verification, environmental water testing, and industrial process control.
