The Emerson Flexim FLUXUS F704 (SIL) Series Ultrasonic Flowmeters satisfies the systematic capability and required characteristics according to SIL 2 and is therefore
suitable to interpret Safety Instrumented Systems. The F704 (SIL) Series is for the ultrasonic measurement of the flow rate and the flow velocity of the fluid in a pipe is determined. Further physical
quantities (e.g., volumetric flow rate, mass flow rate) are derived from the flow velocity.
