The Newwood Solutions / Hytec Electronics VTB 8305 Isolated Digital Input/Output Transition Board is a 6U (double height) VME rear I/O transition board, which provides opto-isolated
inputs/outputs from the 8001 Carrier Board. It routes the signals from the carrier board to four 50-way
SCSI sockets via the J0 and J2 connectors of the VME backplane. The board includes sites for fitting
DC-DC converters for powering the plant side of the opto-isolators.
The Hytec Electronics VTB 8305 Isolated Digital Input/Output Transition Board may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
