The Cytec LX Series General Purpose Switching Systems are modular programmable switching platforms designed for automated test systems, signal routing, and data acquisition applications. Built around a flexible architecture, LX Series systems support a wide variety of switching configurations including matrix, multiplexer, and discrete relay routing.

The system consists of a mainframe chassis populated with interchangeable switching modules and control interfaces, allowing users to customize signal routing paths for complex test environments. LX Series systems are commonly used in engineering labs, production test setups, and automated measurement systems where reliable, repeatable signal switching is required.

Designed for integration into rack-based systems, the LX Series provides both local and remote control capability, enabling seamless operation within automated test frameworks.

The Cytec LX/128-E Programmable Switching System may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
