This unit has never been used and has come from storage. Being stored and stacked outside of the manufacturer's packaging has resulted in some minor visual defects such as scratches. A close inspection shows these units to be unused and unpowered surplus stock. A great buy if you don't require the original cardboard box, technical documentation, and do not mind a couple cosmetic scuffs.

The EADS 1261B 13-Slot High-Performance VXI Mainframe features an advanced power supply design that delivers abundant power with a minimum of ripple and noise. The power supply plugs directly into the backplane for the best possible power delivery. High dynamic current ensures crisp waveforms and accurate measurements.

The 1261B features a fault-tolerant cooling system using a rear pluggable assembly with three fans. If a fan failure should occur, the two remaining fans still deliver a high level of cooling, preserving your VXI module investment.

Basic units include a hi/lo cooling switch to minimize audible noise during system evelopment and maximize the reliability of fielded systems.

The EADS 1261B 13-Slot High-Performance VXI Mainframe with Cable Tray may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
