The Agilent / DC to Light’s Optical Switch Modules are based on high reliability moving prism / mirror switches. All modules offer very low insertion loss, high isolation and flat response. Switching modules can be housed in either a 3U high, 3 module chassis or a 6U high, 12 module chassis. The same modules fit vertically in the 6U unit and horizontally in the 3U unit. Each chassis uses the same interface and control codes. Thus, upgrading from a 3U to a 6U chassis is a seamless process.
