Riedel CPU-128RP G2 Rear Card Overview

The Riedel CPU-128(S/F) G2 Controller cards is the core of the system. The configuration is stored in the CPU card and transmitted to the client card during the client card boot-procedure. Each CPU card has an Ethernet MAC- and IP address. The IP address at Bay A is always even, the IP address at Bay B is always odd (Bay A +1).

The default IP address for new systems is 192.168.42.100 for the CPU placed in bay A.

This CPU is manufactured in different types CPU-128F G2 (prepared for fiber interface) and CPU-128S G2 (standalone solution without fiber).

The CPU-128F G2 offers two SFP cages where Fiber Optical Modules (FOM) can be inserted.

The Riedel CPU-128RP G2 Rear Card may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Digital signal processing card that provides downstream and upstream data communication through RJ45 Ethernet connectivity at 10/100 Mbps speeds, serial data interface via RJ45 serial port for device control and configuration, and alarm monitoring through 9-pin D-sub connector for system status indication and fault reporting in broadcast intercom and audio routing applications.
