The Honeywell STR800 Series SmartLine Remote Diaphragm Seals are a series of high performance pressure transmitters hydraulically matched and optimized with a complete set of remote diaphragm seals. Utilizing the same high performance sensor technology of the ST 800 product line, Honeywell has optimized the mechanical and hydraulic designs in order to minimize the typical effects of temperature on remote seal systems. The SmartLine family is also fully tested and compliant with Experion PKS providing the highest level of compatibility assurance and integration capabilities. SmartLine easily meets the most demanding application needs for pressure measurement applications.

The SmartLine family of gauge pressure, differential pressure, and absolute pressure transmitters is designed around a high performance piezo-resistive sensor. This one sensor actually integrates multiple sensors linking process pressure measurement with on-board static pressure (DP Models) and temperature compensation measurements resulting in the best total performance available. This level of performance allows the ST 800 to replace virtually any competitive transmitter manufactured today.

Functions

Differential pressure transmitter with dual remote diaphragm seals for liquid level, flow, or pressure measurement in harsh industrial environments. Features 400" H2O range with 4-20mA/HART output and hazardous area certification. Uses armored capillaries with silicon oil fill fluid connecting flush flanged 3" ANSI 300 seals with 316L SS diaphragms to the transmitter. Includes advanced multilingual display with pushbuttons and standard diagnostics for monitoring and configuration.

Platforms

This remote diaphragm seal differential pressure transmitter operates on industrial process control platforms including DCS, SCADA, and PLC systems. Compatible with HART-enabled field communication networks, asset management systems, and process automation architectures. Functions in hazardous area installations with FM explosion-proof, intrinsically safe, and non-incendive certifications. Supports 4-20mA analog loops with HART digital protocol overlay for bidirectional communication. Integrates with process monitoring platforms through 1/2 NPT electrical connections and dual 3" ANSI 300 flanged process connections. Works with control room HMI systems, field calibrators, and handheld communicators. Platform requirements include 12-45VDC loop power supply and HART-compatible host systems for configuration and diagnostics.
