CDSbus satisfies the demand for smaller, more cost-effective automated test platforms. The modular architecture is designed to reduce test equipment cost, software development cost through easy to program instruments, system integration complexity and the physical size of the test stand. All cards that fit this platform have model numbers that begin with 53A.

The Aeroflex 53A-780 Hooded Connector may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
