The Vulkan PPAT Series Pneumatic Pinch-Off and Assembly Tool for LOKRING Stoppers is a pneumatic pinch-off and assembly tool that is a handy, compressed-air operated device for industrial use in the area of refrigeration technology. It is used to hermetically seal refrigeration circuits. To do this, first the copper
charging tube or service tube is pinched-off on the compressor or dryer of the refrigeration circuit. Pinching-off the charging or service tube, reduces the inner tube diameter to such an extent that no refrigerant or only a very minimal amount of refrigerant can escape out of the end of the tube. Then the refrigeration circuit
is hermetically sealed by mounting the LOKRING Stopper on the charging or service tube.
