Newport / Oriel 77501 Radiometric Fiber Optic Source Overview

Features:

The 77501 uses a 100 W quartz tungsten halogen lamp as the source of VIS-NIR radiation. It is completely integrated into a compact enclosure with prealigned lamp mount and fiber holder. The lamp is a 100 W QTH lamp with a 2.3 x 4.2 mm filament. This large filament is suitable for fiber bundles and liquid light guides. The lamp is replaceable (average lamp life is 50 hours). An aspheric lens collects and collimates the lamp output. A second, plano convex lens, re-images the lamp filament onto the fiber input. This is a inexpensive fiber optic illuminator that covers a wide range of needs.

The Newport 77501 Radiometric Fiber Optic Source may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
