The Spirent GSS6700 is a multi-GNSS RF constellation simulator designed for development, integration, verification, and performance testing of satellite navigation receivers and GNSS-enabled devices. The system supports simultaneous coherent simulation of GPS/SBAS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo L1 signals from a single test scenario, allowing engineers to evaluate receiver performance under repeatable laboratory conditions.
The GSS6700 provides twelve independent channels for each enabled constellation and is intended for multi-constellation receiver development, integration testing, automated verification, and product validation. Hardware interfaces support synchronization and system integration through 1PPS, 10 MHz reference, and hardware trigger connections.
A range of software environments are supported, including SimGEN, SimREPLAY, and SimREPLAYplus. These applications allow users to generate scenarios, replay predefined trajectories, model real-world movement, and perform controlled GNSS testing with repeatable results.
The Spirent GSS6700 Multi-GNSS Simulator may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
