The Sacher Lasertechnik Pilot Series P500/P2000 Diode Laser Driver is a low noise laser controller which includes a 500mA / 2000mA laser current source and a 2A / 4A temperature controller. The Pilot Series operates in a constant current or a constant power mode. Analog modulation up to 1kHz is applicable. Several security concepts are implemented: Slow Start, Interlock, Compliance Voltage Protection, and Passive Polarity Protection by separated current lines

Features high-accuracy current setting (±0.2mA) and fine resolution (0.1mA), interfacing with AD590 temperature sensors for feedback. Designed for laser diode modules requiring stable optical output and thermal regulation, enabling integration with optical systems through standard electrical connections for feedback control loops.
