The Cirris Systems Adapter System allows the user to quickly and easily change between different connector types. This provides better throughput on users production line as the user can quickly change to desired connector and start next test.

Cirris Systems adapters are compatible with all Cirris Systems benchtop testers, including the Easy-Touch Pro, 4250, 4200, and older benchtop units. At least one adapter is required to make bench-top testers functional. These adapters are designed for quick and easy interchangeability and determine the default test point labeling used by the tester.

High Voltage adapters are required in order to perform Hipot testing above 1000 VDC or 700 VAC. Not all adapters are manufactured in a high voltage version.

Grounded adapters include a test point connected to the metal connector shell. This makes it possible to perform continuity testing to the shell and isolation from the shell. The test point connected to the shell is treated just like any other test point for the purpose of testing.

Many adapters are offered with replaceable connectors. These adapters have mating connectors that are plugged into sockets on the board and held in place with screws. This system makes it easy to replace worn connectors rather than purchasing an entirely new adapter.

Platforms

The AH2M-SD functions as a high-density interconnect adapter designed to interface milli-grid connector systems with standard test equipment. It operates within automated cable and harness test platforms, supporting electrical continuity, isolation resistance, and dielectric withstand voltage testing up to 1500VDC/1000VAC. The adapter features precision-machined contacts with 50-mil (1.27mm) pitch spacing, accommodating up to 100 test points. It interfaces through spring-loaded pogo pins or fixed contact arrays, connecting to test system matrices via standard ribbon cables or discrete wiring. The AH2M-SD adapter converts standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch connections to 0.050" (1.27mm) Milli-Grid pitch. It features a male Milli-Grid connector on one end and accepts standard 0.100" pitch connections on the other. This adapter is used with Cirris cable testers to interface with high-density Milli-Grid connectors found on compact electronic assemblies. The SD designation indicates it's a straight-through direct connection adapter.
