More Information

Coherent / Molectron JD2000 Pulsed 2-Channel Joulemeter / Ratiometer Overview

Features:

  • 2-Channel
  • Sturdy Design
  • On-Line System Control
  • Precision Measurement
Pyroelectric and silicon joulemeter probes are used to measure optical-pulse energies from almost every type of pulsed laser in a wide variety of applications. Although electrical output from a joulemeter probe can be displayed with an oscilloscope, it is usually more convenient and cost-effective to use a dedicated joulemeter display. As laser repetition rates are pushed steadily higher and measurement requirements become more complex, the sophistication of joulemeter displays increases correspondingly.

Another driving force behind joulemeter display development is the increasing use of PCs for on-line system control and data acquisition. More-capable joulemeter displays feature RS-232 and IEEE-488 communication ports and offer programmable operation with substantial on-board data processing.

The Coherent JD2000 Pulsed 2-Channel Joulemeter / Ratiometer may still be available for purchase and support from Artisan Technology Group beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
